User Guidelines
*04 April 07 Update - Starting today all classified ads will first be checked and reviewed by an administrator before going live on the blog. Yep, a lot of people just couldn't seem to get it together (spammers). All current authors within the community will retain their status unless they break the rules. Furture author status will be issued on a case-by-case basis. Thank you!
Inevitably as this free internet advertising resource grows so will this list. We reserve the right to immediately terminate your account for violating any of these User Guidelines or if we deem your ads are counterproductive to the interests of the Free Advertising Blog.
Please read through ALL of them carefully. Failure to follow these SIMPLE instructions will result in an immediate termination of your account and all page rank generating posts in the archives.
USER GUIDELINES:
- No posting the same message in ALL 3 of the categories. Choose one.
- No more e-mail ads. People want to see a web site and not get caught up in an autoresponder (Updated 20 Sep 07)
- No excessive posting. You are permitted two (2) DIFFERENT posts per day.
- Classified ad and promoted website/service must be in English.
- No inappropriate post titles.
- No Java scripts.
- No DHTML. (Dynamic Html)
- No Pop Up Code.
- No AUDIO or Video or Multi-Media of any kind. (Banners are OK but DO NOT break the page.)
- No posting urls in the thread title.
- No double posting (same message twice in a row).
- No excessive "Click Here" or "URL's" spammed throughout your post in hopes to get every single one of your pages spidered.
- No copying other members ads. (That's lame!)
- No links to inappropriate sites.
- No ads for Adult, Porn, Offensive, Warez, Trojan Horse, Phishing.
- No links can be used for ZIP, EXE, PDF, or other types.
- No pyramid, chainletter, MLM, downline, upline or matrix programs. ( I hate these.)
- No gambling sites, casinos or pay day loan sites. (I hate these too!)
- No Pharmaceutical (RX) offers or programs.
- No promotions involving unlicensed use of materials protected by copyright or trademark law.
- No slanderous comments.
- No multiple usernames per person/organization.
Are you seeing a pattern here? It's very simple. If you're unsure whether or not your ad is in violation our User Guidelines then it is. Unethical or fraudulent marketing practices have no business here…and quite frankly I'm tired of the amount of garbage I see on a daily basis.
