User Guidelines

The Free Advertising Blog is a human edited classified ad service.  Before a classified ad is published to the blog an administrator manually reviews each business opportunity,  income opportunity, product or service listed in the post. 

Does this take a little extra time for publishing?  Absolutely.  However we feel the quality of ads is much more important the quantity of ads on the Free Advertising Blog.

So, please DO READ through ALL of our listed guidelines below.  Failure to follow these SIMPLE instructions will result in an immediate termination of your account and all page rank generating posts in the archives.

USER GUIDELINES: (Updated December 25, 2009)

What's Not OK to Post?

  1. No posting the same message in ALL 3 of the categories. Choose ONE only
  2. No excessive posting. You are permitted two (2) DIFFERENT posts per day.
  3. Classified ad and promoted website/service must be in English.
  4. No inappropriate post titles.
  5. No Java scripts.
  6. No DHTML. (Dynamic Html)
  7. No Pop Up Code.  It's 2010 people.  People still hate these!
  8. No posting urls in the thread title.
  9. No double posting (same message twice in a row).  That's lame.
  10. No excessive "Click Here" or "URL's" spammed throughout your post in hopes to get every single one of your pages spidered.
  11. No copying other members ads. (That's also really lame!)
  12. No links to inappropriate sites.
  13. No ads for Adult, Porn, Offensive, Warez, Trojan Horse, Phishing.
  14. No links can be used for ZIP, EXE, PDF, or other types.
  15. No pyramid, chainletter, MLM, downline, upline or matrix programs. ( I SERIOUSLY hate these.)
  16. No gambling sites, casinos or pay day loan sites. (I hate SERIOUSLY hate these too!)
  17. No Pharmaceutical (RX) offers or programs.
  18. No promotions involving unlicensed use of materials protected by copyright or trademark law.
  19. No slanderous comments.
  20. No multiple usernames per person/organization.

Are you seeing a pattern here?  It's very simple.  If you're unsure whether or not your ad is in violation of our User Guidelines then it probably is.  

So What Is OK to Post?

  1. Pretty much everything else!  In addition, with this recent update videos are now allowed to be posted on the blog.  Sweet right?!
